June

June! Ah… this month always makes me smile. I used to think it was because I was born in it, but now that I don’t get to enjoy it anymore, I realise, it’s the monsoon too. The incessant rain that cleanses the earth. The pure, fresh smell of wet mud. The sound of thunder knocking the heavens while I’m safely tucked away in a warm bed. The tears that get concealed in downpours.

Took my baby out for a short drive. The first picture of the car I saw made me think of Harry Potter – “The wand chooses the wizard”. Quite fitting that one the names suggested is Hermoine!
