After mass, a lovely lady from Singapore stopped me to tell me that in all her years as a Catholic, in all the different countries she has attended mass in, she found my reading to be the most beautiful. My heart burst with joy. Especially considering Donal didn’t just read, he proclaimed! I’m so grateful to people for their generous compliments. Being a reader is such a gift.

Being told I look amazing, as always. I am so happy to have such a wonderful tribe.

The gratitude of 3 deacons who knew that I prayed for them especially when I was in Lourdes. I pray that Mother Mary keeps their vocation alive.

The faith and tradition of the Samoan Rugby Team. So delighted to have them at OLM. Such lovely kids. I wish them well.

P’s little boy. So happy he is going to be part of OLM. We got a great idea for the 50th anniversary. Stories of old and new parishioners.

Being told that I should follow the sermon. Getting a chance to remind the preacher that he should follow his own words. It’s great to have such a lovely relationship with a to-be priest.

A friend who needed prayers. Gave her a little medal from Lourdes. And a little pep talk. Didn’t know that E thought my prayers are so powerful. I fell like I’m following in mum’s footsteps. Such a pleasure.

Rooting for Leeds. Only for John. Didn’t happen, but his last memory is of his team winning.

Convertible days. Admiring gazes. Love this season!
