Being told that I’m now called Emily … after the series Emily in Paris. What a difference patterned boots can make. A similar compliment followed, and I guess I have to believe that I really made an impression.

Everyone makes mistakes, but only a few are brave enough to apologise for it. Such people have my respect. P forgot my name the Sunday before. She didn’t gloss over it, she acknowledged it and apologised. Now, that’s worth respect.
