All Souls’ Day. A day we remember and honour the dead. TBH… we do that all the time! However, today is special. Today we take time to go to the cemetery, clean graves, join the family in a short prayer, share a moment with all those going through loss.

I never understood the significance of traditions and rituals as deeply as I do now. I never realised how much I’d miss having the chance to visit a cemetary. I’m so far away even from your remains ma. You wanted to be buried with your mum. I hope I have that honour too.

On Sunday we prayed for all the departed. Today I prayed for those we have lost and each and every person who has lost a loved one.
