I always talk about experiences… I value them above material things. For a long time I used travelling as my chance for new experiences, but recently I didn’t want to wait for exotic places to scratch that itch. I had heard about Noches del Botanico, but never worked up the courage to go. This time I asked around and before I knew it, J and E signed me up to a concert by Train.

I was hesitant to drive there… mainly because I  got the address wrong, but once I figured it out … 2 lovely ladies got picked up and driven to the venue. 

First it was the hand painted sunglass stall. We all ended up buying a pair. 

A relaxed couple of aperol spritzes while rating the fashion quotient of everyone around and it was time to glitter up and sing along with Train. 

I knew just a couple of songs, but I totally loved their energy and music. Picked up some new favourites too. 

On the way out, we ended up shopping again. A lovely lilac skirt and a Frida Kahlo headpiece followed us home. Loved that the kid in the place was so eager to show me his Indian outfit from a wedding earlier in the year. It’s amazing how good energy attracts good energy. I love going shopping with these girls. 

The concert was so much fun. The venue amazing and the company even more. I believe a tradition has been born. 

The universe is primed to give, we just need to ask for the right things.
