Started off cloudy, but turned out to be a perfect day for the G&M wedding. So glad I could be part of it. 

I had clothes picked out for an evening wedding. Turned out to be an afternoon wedding. I returned from Munich on Friday 23:00 to this news. Morning comes and the dress battle begins. So glad my wardrobe still has stuff I can wear with all the weight I’ve put on. A red dress with gold and beige heels and clutch with gold jewellery. A red cape to go with it. Better styled than most of the She-in dressed crowd. Wish I had worn a tocado/pamela. 

A fabulous wedding. My first Spanish wedding too. Love that they were religious and that most of the people who attended paid respect. A couple of fabulous headpieces and great heels. Loved that they had a string quartet playing music from their favourite movies. Up, Lion King, Vivaldi and others made an appearance. Absolutely perfect. The bridal car was the Volkswagen wagen from Kill bill or Lost. The tables were named after movies they loved and had a little snow-globe to match. The gifts were a bottle shaped corkscrew that read :”thank you for being a part of our beginning” and a vial of coffee flavoured liqueur that was served up in a test tube as the girl works in a lab. From the name tags to the polaroid photos to the little details strewn around the church and venue… this wedding was a huge gesture of love and romance and everything that one sees in movies.
