A brief but lovely conversation while at the train station. Sometimes talking about nothing much feels just right. 

Deer basking in the sun in the reserve on the way to Madrid. Animals are hard to be indifferent to. 

Finally made it to high tea with J and F. The place is lovely and this is definitely a new experience. Glad I didn’t back out. A very long conversation and a bit of bonding. Life is good. 

Madrid… love the city. I wish it wasn’t so full of people and noise.
