Confession

Confessions can be cathartic. Especially when the confessor is a kind priest who understands the depth of one’s pain. I am blessed to have such a priest to go to. Blessed that I have the sacrament to help me find myself, accept my failings, and restart my journey with hope renewed.
It was only after this moment that I was able to look out as I crossed the “Parque Nacional de Sierra de Guadaramma” on my way back and instead of being unmoved as I was on the journey to church, I was able to give thanks. The clouds broke just while we passed. A sign from the heavens from a caring God? A figment of my imagination? Today, after my spiritual rejuvenation through the retreat, I believe it is the former.

Learning Mermaid. So glad I was able to make such strides with the tool. I still have miles to go, but it’s a great start for what I want to achieve right now.
