Wore a long heavy coat thinking I might just be over prepared for the day…. watching the others shiver, all I felt was warmth. Warmth and good conversation, that’s all one needs to start the day with a smile.

Switched to handmade cosmetics today. Lush was calling and after the very first use, I feel the difference. 

I know how difficult winter in the mountains could be and I can’t imagine being without heat to get through it. It’s normal to be overcome by compassion. It’s normal to empathise. It’s normal to help. We live in a world where kindness is a luxury… and every gesture of it is met with ceaseless wonder.
