First things first. The Advent calendar. A something special this year is a “Musical Advent Calendar” that my friend has decided to share with me.

Cleaning before the decoration. Seemed a Herculean task, but hey, someone had to do it.

A chance gesture of kindness which resulted in a wonderful afternoon. A cheeky decision to let the top down. (Sometimes the environmentalist in me doesn’t win, but those losses are worth it.) Burgers and wit. I’ll take that combination any day.

Officially Christmas. The lights are on. There is just something about fairy lights that makes me feel like a child. Love the feeling.
